By downloading, installing, or using TYPERR, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
TYPERR is a macOS application for voice dictation, translation, and AI-assisted text input. It is a productivity tool only and is not intended for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical use. You must not rely on TYPERR where errors could result in harm, liability, or damage.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any content generated through TYPERR.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use TYPERR.
When you purchase TYPERR, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software on up to 3 (three) Mac devices. This is a license, not a sale.
You may not: sublicense, resell, rent, lease, or distribute the software; share or expose your license key; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code; or circumvent licensing or security mechanisms.
TYPERR offers a free trial so you can fully evaluate the product before purchasing. The trial provides access to core features and allows you to determine whether TYPERR meets your needs. You are responsible for testing the software and confirming its suitability before buying.
TYPERR is sold as a one-time purchase through a third-party payment provider. All sales are final. Because a free trial is available, we expect you to test the product before buying. We do not offer refunds.
By purchasing and downloading TYPERR, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection laws (including EU Directive 2011/83/EU).
If you experience a verified technical issue that prevents the software from functioning and we are unable to resolve it, contact us at [email protected]. Refund decisions in such cases are made at our sole discretion.
Certain features of TYPERR depend on third-party services, including but not limited to OpenAI and Apple/macOS. We do not control and are not responsible for: their availability or uptime; pricing changes; API behavior or output quality; or policy or terms changes.
If any third-party service changes, becomes unavailable, or is discontinued, some or all features of TYPERR may stop functioning. We are not liable for any resulting impact on your workflow or costs.
Some features (cloud dictation, translation, AI assistant) require your own OpenAI API key. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
— You are solely responsible for obtaining, managing, and securing your API key.
— Your audio and text data is sent directly from your Mac to OpenAI's servers. TYPERR does not intercept, store, or process this data.
— You are bound by OpenAI's own Terms of Use and Usage Policies.
— You are responsible for all charges incurred on your OpenAI account.
We do not access, store, or process your API usage or billing information.
We take your privacy seriously. In local dictation mode, all processing happens on your device — nothing leaves your Mac. In cloud mode, data is transmitted directly to third-party providers using your credentials.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to your voice data, transcriptions, or any content you create with TYPERR. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
TYPERR requires Accessibility and Microphone permissions on macOS to function. These permissions allow the app to insert text into any application and to capture audio for dictation. You grant these permissions voluntarily through macOS System Settings. You can revoke them at any time, though doing so may disable some or all functionality.
All rights, title, and interest in TYPERR — including its name, logo, design, and code — remain with the developer. All rights reserved.
You retain full ownership of any content you create using the software (your dictated text, translations, AI-generated responses). We claim no rights to your content.
You agree not to: use the software for illegal purposes; violate third-party terms (including OpenAI policies); share, resell, or redistribute your license key; interfere with or disrupt the software or its systems; or attempt to circumvent any licensing or security mechanisms.
TYPERR is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that: voice recognition or AI outputs will be accurate; the software will be error-free or uninterrupted; TYPERR will be compatible with all systems or future versions of macOS; or any specific feature will remain available indefinitely.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of TYPERR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, damages caused by third-party services, errors in AI-generated content, or any damages arising from the use or inability to use TYPERR.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for TYPERR.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from: your use of the software; your violation of these Terms; your misuse of AI-generated content; or your use of third-party services through TYPERR.
You may stop using TYPERR at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and delete all copies.
We may modify, update, or discontinue any part of TYPERR at any time without prior notice or liability. This includes adding, changing, or removing features.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of TYPERR after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: internet outages, third-party service failures, natural disasters, legal restrictions, or acts of force majeure.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of TYPERR shall be resolved in the courts of Poland.
